This workshop tackles RIE-inspired principles through parents’ observation of their kids in a relaxed play environment by a RIE-certified instructor. In the workshop the teacher facilitates discussion about age-appropriate stimulation that is child-initiated, and the important role of the parent in these precious moments.

Observe your child in a natural and relaxed play environment where they are exposed to multiple activities that excite and engage their senses!

Too often we ‘force’ our kids to play by telling them how to interact with it. Is there a better way to let our kids learn through play? Is it really important to encourage active play in your toddler?

Discover how your child learns best through observation and discussion in this unique toddler play date. Learn and talk about new ideas with Teacher Tanya Velasco, RIE-certified teacher in training as she guides parents to learn more about respectful parenting and RIE principles.

Brings kids in a play environment where a teacher guides them into activities while parents sit-in and observe to learn about their kids’ abilities. The program includes an observation time where parents can watch their kids through different areas of stimulation: gross motor, fine motor, pretend play, and cognitive.
